The warmth serves to gently heat your fascial tissue, contributing to an overall more effective and enjoyable treatment. Throughout the session, your massage therapist will maintain open communication with you to ensure your utmost comfort and satisfaction.

Aftercare

To optimize the benefits of your treatment:

  • Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps your body flush out toxins and enhances the effects of your session.

  • Incorporate Stretching or Yoga: Maintaining the suppleness and fluidity of your fascial tissue supports long-term well-being.

Bruising from FasciaBlasting

Fascia, like water, can exist in different states. It can be jelly-like, semi-hydrated with chunks, or cold, tight, and crystallized. To prepare your body for FasciaBlasting, it’s essential to transition your fascia into a jelly-like state. The best ways to achieve this are through internal and external heating and proper hydration.

During FasciaBlasting, when you’re working to release fascial adhesions, it’s akin to pulling apart two pieces of duct tape. Some bruising may occur as a natural part of the restoration process, signaling the successful separation of sticky tissue layers. This bruising occurs as blood rushes to the area, initiating the healing process. While these bruises are typically not painful, they can be immediately visible and may be accompanied by a tingling sensation as blood flows through the tissue.

When FasciaBlasting targets fat cells adhered to the layers of fascia or muscle, microfissures may develop in the capillaries as they are pulled apart. This opens up space for oxygen-rich blood cells to infiltrate and break down the fat cells, effectively promoting their reduction.

If you bruised a lot in an area the first time, that doesn’t mean you will bruise again the second time.  Ice and arnica gel or cream can help reduce bruising immediately after treatment.

 

How quickly will I notice a change?

Many individuals experience immediate improvements after FasciaBlasting. Enhanced range of motion and reduced stiffness and joint pain are among the initial signs that the body is undergoing positive changes. Depending on the initial state of fascial restriction, you may start to observe reductions in circumference and cellulite in certain areas in as little as two weeks. Keep in mind that cell turnover takes approximately 28 days, so you are essentially rejuvenating areas of the body that may not have received proper blood flow for a considerable period.
