Infinity/Nano/Powder Brow Pre-Treatment Instructions

Following these instructions will positively affect your treatment and how quickly you heal.
Also, get plenty of rest and drink lots of water to hydrate prior to your
PMU Brow treatment.

HEALTH CONDITIONS:

  • If you have any existing medical condition that requires for you to take blood thinners, please consult your physician to see if you can stop taking them for one week prior to your Lip Blush appointment and bring your doctor’s written consent with you to your appointment.
  • People with heart conditions or high blood pressure should also consult with their physician about the use of over-the-counter topical Lidocaine based numbing cream which is used during the Lip Blush treatment. Provide written consent from your doctor to use OTC numbing cream.
  • If you think you might be pregnant, please re-schedule your treatment.
  • If possible, and for your comfort, schedule your Infinity/Powder Brow treatment when you are not on your menstrual cycle. Your body is more prone to swelling and bleeding during this time.

COSMETIC TREATMENTS:

  • LIP FILLERS/INJECTIONS – Must wait a minimum 6 months after fillers or botox in the eye area and 6 weeks after touch-up. Even after 6 weeks, it is still possible for poor pigment retention.
  • RETIN-A/AHA – Discontinue Retin-A or Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) for 6 weeks before treatment.

IMMEDIATELY BEFORE TREATMENT:

  • No alcohol, caffeine or other stimulants for 48 hours; bleeding pushes out pigment!
  • No aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil or Ibuprofen for 48 hours before treatment.
  • Avoid Fish Oil, Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc.), “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements for a minimum of 48 hours before treatment.
  • Do not exercise or go to the gym for 48 hours before treatment.
  • Stay hydrated!
